SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you buy something in our shop, as part of the purchase process, we have to collect some personal data such as name, address and e-mail address. The search even without purchase, also triggers, through the Internet protocol (IP), which browser you are using as well as the operating system. Important for a good user experience. With your permission we will communicate directly with you by e-mail to inform you of promotions on our products, campaigns or events.

SECTION 2 - CONSENT

How do we get your consent? When you give us personal information to complete your purchase at our shop, credit card verification, order placement, delivery or order return, we assume your consent to collect this information, however only for the reasons described above. This same information, requested in a marketing context for example, will have to be approved by you. How can I cancel my implied consent? If at any time you wish to cancel your consent, simply contact us at ibitech@ibitech.pt and your consent will be withdrawn.

SECTION 3 - DISCLOSURE OF YOUR DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

We will only and will only disclose your data to third parties if we are required to do so under the governing law, or if you breach our terms and conditions.

SECTION 4 - WORDPRESS

The Ibitech Store is hosted on WordPress. Your information is stored in WordPress data storage, on a secure server protected by a firewall. Payment: If you choose a direct payment method, then WordPress stores your credit card information. This information is stored in encrypted form using Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Even encrypted, this information is only stored for as long as it takes to complete the transaction. All PCI-DSS standardised direct payment methods are managed by the PCI Security Standards Council which comprises brands such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS help securely handle your credit card information in our shop.

SECTION 5 - THIRD PARTY SERVICES

In general, the partners we use will only use and disclose your information as strictly necessary to provide the service to us. However, some partners, such as payment gateways, have their own privacy policies regarding the information they request from us in order for a purchase to be processed. For these partners, we recommend that you read their privacy policies in order to understand how your personal information will be treated. Please note, however, that certain partners may be located in countries with different jurisdictions than ours and yours. Therefore, when making a purchase, your information will be governed by the laws of the country in which the partner is based. For example, if you are located in Portugal and your transaction is processed on a platform of a partner located in the USA, in this case your information will be governed under the laws of the USA (including the Patriotic Act)

To protect your personal information, we take appropriate precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure that it is not lost, corrupted, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide credit card information to us, this information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and saved with AES-256 encryption protocol. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, however we will follow all PCI-DSS procedures.

Our website makes a cookie log through the WordPress platform.

SECTION 8 - PERMITTED AGE

By using this site, you are assuming that you are of legal age, or that the adult responsible for the minor has permitted the minor to use the site.

SECTION 9 - CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time, so please check back frequently. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on the site. If there are changes, you will be notified that there have been changes and the privacy policy has been changed. If our shop is acquired by, or merged with another company, your information will be transferred to that company so that we can continue to sell products to you in the most optimal way possible.
